Liam’s Customer Success Manager Experience

We recently caught up with Recite Me’s Customer Success Manager Liam Hasson to discuss what a typical day looks like for Liam and why he loves working at Recite Me.

“Due to our success over the last 10 years, Recite Me is now in a position where we are moving into the next phase of growth and with that comes more opportunities for our employees. This potential is a huge motivator for me.”

Hi, I’m Liam, I’m part of the Customer Success Manager Team here at Recite Me.

I grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne, and went to University in Leeds, completing a degree in Sports Business Management, and have worked mainly in different technology and communication companies since.

My role at Recite Me is guiding our customers through their accessibility journey from when they first sign up, all the way through to their contract renewal. As a new team, we are laying the building blocks to ensure a customer's journey is fluid and inclusive.

Working at Recite Me

Due to our success over the past 10 years, Recite Me is now in a position where we are moving into the next phase of growth and with that comes more opportunities for our employees. This potential is a huge motivator for me.

We work with a range of National and International brands which is a brilliant experience full of different obstacles and challenges, but nothing we can’t handle! It’s always interesting to see how companies think and tick. Offering organisations the guidance and tools needed to make their online spaces more accessible and inclusive.

A Day in the Life

Thanks to the flexible start times that Recite Me offers, I like to get my gym workout done in the morning, this way I'm not rushing around to get into the office for a specific start time.

My work starts with any customer queries and meetings. Then the Customer Success Team has an internal meeting about our processes and plan for the day.

For lunch, I sometimes treat myself to a fajita wrap from the local café (highly recommend).

The afternoon is usually filled with communications with our American and International customers and making sure everything is running smoothly and offering support with anything I can. The days do fly by here if I’m honest!

Best Moments at Recite Me So Far

As a huge Newcastle United Football Club fan, the opportunity came up to attend a game in our Company Box at St James's Park which was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed!

On a working note, I was thrilled when I was asked to build our knowledge and training packages with my manager for our future Customer Success Manager team members.

Why Should Someone Join the Recite Me Team?

Recite Me is only at the start of its journey.

Our sales team is continue to smash records and isn't slowing down! With this comes an increase in new customers and as I previously mentioned, opportunities!

With all this going on, I can honestly say that a company has never offered me a better work and life balance. We can work from home two days a week, starting anytime between 8 and 10 am.

Being granted this trust and flexibility, creates a working environment in which I can spend more time on my work and ultimately give our customers the best journey and experience possible.

Also, the product we offer is so important to a huge percentage of the world, and being Dyslexic myself I want to help all of our customers to be more accessible and inclusive.

The company also offers a really cool Electric Car scheme to help do our bit to decrease our carbon footprint and the cars are stunning!

Recite Me is only at the start of its journey, and I can't wait to see where we go next.
