This is why we’re looking for a Strategic SEO Specialist to help drive an increase in brand awareness to attract and direct prospects to our website to educate, info and convert through demand generation.

About the Role

As the Strategic SEO Specialist at Recite Me your primary responsibility will be driving quality inbound leads, by developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve the online visibility and performance of our websites and increase organic traffic with a focus on demand generation. Working directly with the HOM and Regional Marketing Managers, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, traffic building, and reporting of regional websites

  • Delivery of the SEO strategy to meet business objectives including increased rankings and traffic/sales uplift

  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify high-value opportunities

  • Optimise website structure and content to improve search engine visibility

  • Run competitor analysis, and keyword gap analysis

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure SEO best practices are being implemented to ensure optimum results

  • Recommend and implement changes to website architecture, content, offsite, and other factors to improve SERP positions for target keywords.

  • Develop daily, weekly and monthly reporting packs covering performance and progress

  • Create and maintain detailed reports on SEO performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Work with HOM to maximise paid search opportunities in line with demand generation campaigns 

  • Keep up-to-date on the latest algorithms and best practices for on-page, off-page and technical SEO

About You

We’re looking for great characters with the right attitude and aptitude. Here are a few of the things we look for…

 

  • 5+ years of experience managing SEO

  • Strong working knowledge of website analytics and SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, MOZ, SEMRush, SERanking, Screaming Frog)

  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, including website structure, crawling and indexing and on-page optimisation

  • Able to propose long-term strategies and create long-term testing plans related to organic growth

  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms

  • CMS experience with A blend of creative and analytical skills to own websites

  • Experience in managing content across multiple territories and using hreflang accordingly

  • The enthusiasm to keep abreast of industry changes. Possess the ability to adapt to new developments that may impact SEO management and best practice.

  • Good common knowledge of digital marketing channels, and how SEO is an integral part of this.

 

Commercial Experience:

  • SEO: 5 years (Required)

  • Website Management: 3 years (Required)

  • Paid Advertising: 2 years (nice to have)

Location

Hybrid working set-up. Remote 2 days per week and 3 days in the office. Newcastle/Gateshead Quayside HQ (Remote during C19)

Hours

40 Hour Per Week, Flexible start (08:00-10:00) and end times (16:30 – 18:30)
