About the Role

We’re hiring for a brand new and exciting role; Technology Manager, who will work closely with our Head of Technology to ensure that the technical roadmap is delivered. Reporting directly to the Head of Technology you will play a pivotal role, working with multiple stakeholders to understand technical challenges within the organisation and advise on solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the head of technology to drive forward the technical roadmap.

Work with the relevant teams and departments to ensure that key technology tasks are kept on track and delivered to a high standard.

Understand departmental challenges and advise the head of technology on strategic solutions.

Advise on hiring within the technology department.

Report key project statistics to the head of technology such as time spent vs. estimated, resource utilisation, and deadlines.

Attend client and stakeholder meetings where necessary.

Provide assistance with board-level reporting and metrics.

Be on hand to provide support and advice to the tech team.

Run with ideas and tasks given to you by the Head of Technology

Technical background and understanding of key technology standards are essential

Ability to articulate clear instructions to development teams and also stakeholders with different technical maturities
